Combe Community Cinema is screening Past Lives
on Friday March 15th
Close friends Na Young and Hae Sung attend high school in Seoul. Na Young moves to Canada and then to New York with her parents. Hae Sung continues living in Korea, completes an engineering course, goes through military service and then starts a job. The film follows these two over the course of 24 years while they contemplate the nature of their relationship as they grow apart, living different lives. Written and directed by Celine Song in her feature directorial debut. Starring Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, and John Magaro. (2023)
In Korean and English, with subtitles. Tickets £5. Bar open from 7.30pm, film begins at 8.00pm and ends at 9.45pm. Cert 12A.
